Hope.

A husband hopes for his sick, aging wife's well being.

She was a cancer patient, waiting in line to be seen by the doctor .. to know what may be the best solution for her.

She waited and waited. She felt cold so her husband gave her his jacket. Her head rested on her husband's shoulders.

Hope.

In his mind, no matter what it takes, he will be there for his wife.

No matter how old she looks or how fragile her body is.

He wants to be there for her.

And thus he hopes, to see the doctor. So that he can get some answers.

So that his wife can survive the strenous chemo routines.

So that she can live her life the best way she could.

Hope.

The doctor sent them home, unable to give them a definite answer. Chemo or surgery? he said.

The husband was told to come the next day so that he can meet with other doctors and 'discuss' their other options.

The doctor sign the papers and wished them well on their way back home.

Hope.

Yes the husband will come back the next day.

No matter how tiring it'll be riding his motorcycle for hours to go to the hospital,

No matter how expensive the hospital bills might be,

No matter how sickly he looks himself,

No matter how sad and worried sick is he of his wife.

Hope drives him forward.

He will come back the next day. Without a pause in his mind.

Life may be tough, but then they say, "there's always hope".

So they keep on moving forward, surpassing the turbulances before them.
