Evacuate!

Yogyakarta without earthquakes and other natural disasters is like peanut butter jelly without the jelly. It compliments each other like no other, and for the past few weeks it has shown how powerful the connection can be. Everyday people are talking about evacuation plans and the do's and don'ts when dealing with disasters and an emergency crisis. Sampaikan yang tak pernah bukak surat khabar pun bukak every hour to update themselves with the latest "merapi eruption" news.

Fazrul mentioned how each of us are required to move to a specific evacuation area, should there be any emergency situation for example earthquakes etc. And worse comes to worst, they will fly us all back to Malaysia via the TUDM aircraft. So far, no major unusual natural occurings happened yet in my place which is about 30km from Merapi, Alhamdulillah. For now, life goes on as usual. However, let us all pray for the causalties of the recent eruption and the tsunami that happened in West Sumatera. May their souls rest in peace. Amin.
