This block, as you all know, deals with major statistical issues on why and how a certain medical processes might have happened. It describes how a certain agreement regarding interventions are made.
This block also proves to be a major pain in the backside, as each and every single week we were 'blessed' with numerous exercises, presentations, discussions and also practical sessions discussing well, almost the same thing. The same taxing and leceh thing.
It has made me realize how powerful numbers can be in deciding what's acceptable, normal or otherwise. Sadly, the painfully torturing processes never cease to decrease in intensity.
We learnt about survival analysis.
In my opinion, they ought to run one research regarding the before and after effects of student entering a one hour biostatistics lecture. Then yes, we'll see the significant decrease of survival among them! (survival meaning the potential of the student's awareness to be say, more than 50%)
