I miss Surabaya already.

Surabaya.

Oh what a great last minute decision. As Hema would put it, we are high achievers in that department! Accompanied by the most amazing, awesome group of friends, we conquered the highs and lows of Surabaya. Literally.

From the top of the hill, we witnessed the most beautiful sunrise ever (although the crowd was literally overflowing!). The temperature that dawn was nearing what, 7 degrees celcius! (mind you it was 4am in the morning!) Thankfully, most of us survived! Berbekalkan, pok mi and teh hangat, we managed to withstand the excruciating cold temperature and waited for the sun to show its majestic appearance. Luckily, no frost bites and missing toes that day :)

Then, there was Bromo. For one thing, stacey discovered her new found "love" for nature, and as for me, well lets just say i think God is just TOO awesome for words. Subhanallah :) The scenary was spectacular and WOW!

Taman Safari Indonesia. A definite MUST GO for every animal lovers and trevellers out there. The animals are just too cuddly and cute! And yes, the animals were sooo involved in the whole adventure that you can actually feed the zebras and antelopes right from the car you are in! (ehem, Lions and tigers involved). I swear this experience is just too cool.

and did i mentioned i got a back massage from an elephant, and Lee, kissed by one too. hehehe. :) Imagine hitting a dusty carpet using a baseball bat. Yep, that's exactly how it looks like. roflmao!

I tried a new dish especially famous in Surabaya which is called "Rojak Cingur" or something like that. Hmm and yea, that'll be my first and last try. haha.

More pictures soon on facebook.
Just an absolutely lovely experience.
